Children & youth

Children are a valuable part of our church community. Our desire is to bring the Bible alive for children so that each one can see for themselves who Jesus really is.

We run two age-specific groups for children up until the age 11 during our morning service. We also have a youth group for secondary school aged children on Friday evenings, as well as a parent and toddler group on Thursdays.

SUNDAYS 10:30AM

Kensington Baptist Church

Kidz@Ken is our group for primary school aged children. They are invited to take part in craft and games at 10.30am, before joining the first part of our morning service. After the kids talk, the group then heads back out to our Muller Hall for Bible teaching, a snack, and more games together. Parents then collect their children at the end of our morning service.

Jesus Kids

SUNDAYS 11AM

Kensington Baptist Church

Jesus Kids is our group for children from birth up to and including their first year of school. Parents are invited to drop off their children in our Lower Hall after the children's spot in our morning service. As well as play and craft, these sessions include simple teaching from the Bible and singing to help our children learn about Jesus. Parents of the youngest children are welcome to stay to help their child settle into the group. Those dropping children off collect them again at the end of the service.

KBC Youth

We love young people at Kensington Baptist Church.  Our youth group meets on Friday evenings and gathers together with the rest of our church family on Sunday mornings. The aims of our ministry are:

Expose young people to the gospel

Equip young Christians to live out their faith

Encourage young people to share their faith with others

Join us for bible study, worship, and games each week. We also have an annual super fun weekend away in the Autumn term and a day trip out in the Summer term.
