Kensington now has 15 Homegroups around the city. They meet
fortnightly in the homes of those who regularly attend the church.
Homegroups are open to all who would like to be involved. In general, each
homegroup consists of around ten people who attend Kensington.
The primary purpose of the homegroup is to set aside time to Bible study, pray
and fellowship. Each group sets and plans their own studies. There is
opportunity for members of the group to lead and share in the studies.
Homegroups are also designed for the care and support of its members - a good
way to get to know people within the church. Other activities also happen such
as ten pin bowling, visiting special events as a group, meals or even helping
with the mundane activities of life such as moving house.

There will always be a welcome to newcomers.
Young People’s Home Group – Years 9 to 12
Once a fortnight, on a Wednesday, our Young People meet together
to study the Bible as part of the churches Home Group programme.
We believe that the Bible is very relevant to all of our lives and through this
time the Young People can openly explore what the Bible is teaching them in
their lives.
