 church activities

Kensington has a quite a few activities apart from the normal services that cater for all age ranges. These run at different times during the week at regular times during the month.

These activities provide an excellent way of getting to know people within the church, building new friendships, worshipping  and learning more about God.

Click on the links below to find out more.

Many of the groups are small and others are open to those who are seeking to know more about GOD.

The children at Kensington have always been important to us -  from zero to 18.

For young people in school in school year 7-9, Connect meets on a Sunday evening at the Church

Kensington Senior Citizen's Day Centre meeting on a Tuesday

Homegroups around the city - meeting fortnightly (1st and 3rd Tuesday) in homes.

Reception to Year 6 - Sunday evening. Games, craft, tea, drama, teaching, singing and more.

Held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

Started as a service for local schools, to bring a new and positive approach to the 'compulsory worship' element of the National Curriculum.

A parent and toddler group held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday -  entrance on Seymour Road.

Students in recent years have greatly appreciated getting to know a KBC family through our hospitality scheme. The scheme links students with a home for meals and to get to know others from the church.

After the evening service there is an informal gathering for those from their late teens to mid-thirties at the Church

Young people get together and talk through issues relevant to teenagers, with a wide range of chill out times.
